“Having seen the first chapter Andy sent back, I knew straight away that he was in a different league. He worked painstakingly hard on my thesis and the quality of his work was outstanding. Andy’s grasp of English grammar is excellent and he’s a perfectionist.”
– Daliany Kersh, PhD student
I know what it’s like to feel stressed about student essays (I’ve written a fair number in my time). If you don’t want to worry about grammar, spelling and whether that semi-colon should be a hyphen, I can help.
I’ve corrected many, many essays and theses ranging from economics to legal ethics and philosophy to political science. I specialise in PhD theses and dissertations but have corrected application letters, personal statements, CVs, short stories and essays of all kinds. In short, if you have something in English I can correct it.
What’s the difference between copy editing and proofreading?
With a proofreading service you’ll get professional help with grammar, language, style and sentence structure as well as helping to improve the ‘flow’ of the writing (how it sounds when you read it).
Copy editing is for when an essay needs light correction without changing a lot of the style or sentence structure.
I offer discounts for students as I know you folks don’t always have a lot of money. Take a look at the Details page for an idea of what I charge or email me on the address below.
